How often should I get my house cleaned?

It depends on your household, but most of our clients choose bi-weekly cleaning to keep things consistently fresh without breaking the budget. Busy families with kids or pets often prefer weekly service, while some homeowners are happy with a monthly deep refresh. We’re glad to help you figure out the right schedule during your free quote.

What’s the difference between a Standard Cleaning and a Deep Cleaning?

A Standard Cleaning covers the regular upkeep tasks — dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchens and bathrooms. A Deep Cleaning goes further, tackling built-up grime in places that don’t get attention during routine visits, like baseboards, inside appliances, and detailed bathroom scrubbing. We recommend starting with a Deep Cleaning for your first visit, then switching to Standard for ongoing maintenance.

Do I need to be home while you clean?

Not at all. Many of our clients give us a key, garage code, or lockbox and go about their day while we take care of the cleaning. the cleaning professional is background-checked and trustworthy, so you can have complete peace of mind whether you’re home or not.

Do I need to provide any cleaning supplies or equipment?

No. Cleaning professionals arrive with the supplies and equipment needed for the booked service. If you have allergies, sensitivities, specialty surfaces, or specific product restrictions, let us know before service so we can confirm whether the request can be accommodated.

What if I’m not happy with the cleaning?

Every service is backed by Sterling’s 200% Satisfaction Guarantee. Let us know by the end of the next business day and we’ll arrange a complimentary re-clean of the affected areas. If that re-clean still falls short, we’ll arrange for a different cleaning professional to address them.

Can I reschedule or cancel a cleaning?

Cancellations or reschedules made at least 48 hours before your scheduled service are free. We also allow one courtesy reschedule within the 48-hour window. Additional late reschedules and late cancellations may be subject to our 50% fee. See our Service Policies for complete terms.

Do you offer one-time cleanings, or only recurring service?

Both. We offer one-time cleanings for move-ins, move-outs, special occasions, or a one-off deep clean, as well as recurring weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly plans for ongoing upkeep.
